Unless they’re happening to your meager possessions or actual person, fires can be rather funny things. I, for one, confess to always wondering about what it might be like, were one to erupt in the nearest fire station. Or fireworks factory – man, those are the best.

Better yet, I imagine how embarrassing it must be for a fireman’s house to set fire. Could he (or she) ever live it down? Do they join the likes of cops who shoot themselves in the foot during school gun safety demonstrations, perhaps?
